“He Hath Done Great Things” (10-27-2014)

Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart:
for consider how great things he hath done for you.” (1 Samuel 12:24)

That is the theme of this week, people. How many great things He has done for us this week.

We had the wedding and baptism of Emilia and Saucane, and it went smoothly. That NEVER happens! There is always something. But, it went so well! We had the help of so many members, and I felt calm and prepared. A major blessing.

And yesterday! Our two new families both came to church! Jorge and Elsa and Zinha and Andre. They are amazing! I think I might have to extend a few more months so I can keep working with them! (Just kidding, mom.) But really. They are incredible. So humble and with such desire to learn and obey. And not that it’s a big deal or anything, but this week BENTO AND ISABEL ARE OPENING THE MARRIAGE PROCESS!!!!!!

Thanks to Liria. Just as every good missionary knows, the most effective works happens through the members. I learned that in a big way this week. Also, proactivity. We are to be agents that act, instead to be acted up. Nephi, instead of Laman. We can accomplish lots of great things when we use our agency to act and work to make things happen. This effort, couple with the Lord’s help – UNSTOPPABLE!

We also had a visit from Elder Ellis of the Seventy this week, P-Day at the Indian Ocean, and I had a great division with Sister Gimo.

I love you all. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the prayers. They are bringing miracles. Until next week.
