Well. It was a hard week.
But that is simply a fact of missionary life. Hardships, trials, disappointments.
But what great opportunities for growth! The better attitude we have toward these moments, the more the Lord can teach and help us, not only to find joy in the journey, and to be truly be refined and purified. I’m taking an Alma approach:
Why the difficulties? “…it mattereth not; for God knoweth all these things; and it sufficeth me to know that this is the case…” (40:5).
Plus, there are the hardships of another life to think about.
This week, we received a visit from Elder Khumbelani, of the Seventy. He taught alot about living the gospel culture – abandoning unrighteous traditions to follow the Savior.
This week, I have my LAST Zone Conference! TEMPO ESTA A VOAR, folks. I have so much to do! Today, Sister Bluker and I sat with a great new family, Meves and Valder. Keep them in your prayers!
Have a great week!
