Well, that’s it folks. I have finished up school for the semester. AND FOR THE NEXT 18 MONTHS! I officially leave for the MTC in 22 days! Seriously, when did that happen?! Winter semester 2013 has been the best semester to date. So many wonderful people. So many wonderful experiences.
Aaaaaand commence photo updates!
General Conference (thanks Michael for the awesome panorama!) was amazing. I went to the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions, what a blessing! I came away from the whole experience feeling so spiritually fed, uplifted and guided. One of my favorite thoughts:
“Brothers and sisters, this is a divine work in process, with the manifestations and blessings of it abounding in every direction, so please don’t hyperventilate if from time to time issues arise that need to be examined, understood, and resolved. They do and they will. In this Church, what we know will always trump what we do not know. And remember, in this world, everyone is to walk by faith….Except in the case of His only perfect Begotten Son, imperfect people are all God has ever had to work with. That must be terribly frustrating to Him, but He deals with it. So should we. And when you see imperfection, remember that the limitation is not in the divinity of the work.” -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, “Lord, I Believe” April 2013 General Conference Address
The following are our FHE family photos. Let me just say something about this group of boys. They are amazing. So fun. Kind. Generous. Hard-working. Sweet. Hilarious. Talented. THE best. They were our best buddies this year. I love them and am going to miss them like crazy. We had a blast spending every week together – roasting s’mores, tie-dying t-shirts, eating dinner together, playing Balderdash, quoting movies, and making late-night runs to Dairy Queen. #ourfavoriteboys
I have the best roommates. Forts, popcorn & orange julius, street dance parties, pranking and cupcakes. Miss them so much already!
